Finally a musicians forum.
I still use a crappy Rogers set with my Dixon double kick. but i now use remo pinstripe ebony heads on my top 2 toms and a clear pinstripe on my bottom tom. i have 22" remo ebony emad on my bass. i still stick to vic firth sticks, i love using 5As and extreme 5As.
ive worked a lot on speed and technicality, the speed im doing pretty good at, i can play 8s at 240 bpm now.
which means 16s on one hand at 120.
for you not familiar with such words, thats 32 notes per second.

im trying to learn to play more jazz so i can get better with everything else, cos i feel as though im a pretty good metal drummer. i can play through almost all of my songs in my ipod and what not.

what about you?

Nope... ive sepnt over $1200 and it sat in my closet for 3 years. I sold it for $800. In the end it was a waste of space and a waste of money.

Currently looking for a drummer, for my new band Lighting Rod. Sort of old school metal think Judas Priest but not as bad ass with more Metallica thrash parts and Man-O-War interludes. The plans for now are to use drum machine but id much rather have a real person doing the drumming. You will need a way to record or get to Ohio and record. We have a 3 songs set to record the demo in January. i hope someone can help.

Single kick,NO triggers,tons of beer!
