Holy shit, is this stuff ever fucking weird. I'm talking about Promise and the Monster. Tripping music that you don't need the shrooms or acid to trip to, Billie supplies the shrooms. Gives you the creeps, and trips you out all at the same time. Listen to this shit, watch the 3 videos on the myspace and turn it up pretty loud, its flashback time. Grin No way to describe it, just watch it and listen if you are into stoner doom, this will send you to another plane of existence. Mr. Green

Yep, like the cranberries on shrooms. It reminded me a lot of tripping music we listened to in the late 60s and early 70s. Grin

Or maybe I'm just fucking weird. LOL

A calm atmospheric sound, certainly shroom friendly.

How about we just throw together a list of psychedelic, deleric, stoner, and stimulant friendly bands?

I'll start:

Deathspell Omega
Nero's Day at Disneyland
Swans
Globoscuro
Neurosis
CORPOPARASSITA
Zombies Ate my Neighbors(soundtrack)
Jarboe
At The Funeral of my Violet Rabbit
Venetian Snares
Electric Wizard
The Phantom Limbs
...and a shit load of bands popping up in my head stretching for miles on printer paper, many of which are also on DFM.

Gonna bump this for the fuck of it. Listening to the album right now, fits my exhausted, burnt out, fucked up mood perfectly. Others should try this, her voice is amazing if you are in just the right mood. Cool

mushrooms are part of shamanistic religion and rites trough out the northern hemisphere. In the nomand tribes of the north mushrooms have been part of contacting ancestrial spirits whom lived beoynd stars. Stars where the gateways to thereafter,,, just to add some "facts" to this thread.

Many musicians have used the mushrooms as an psychodelic drugs, which they indeed are. And as hippie music the modern "toad-metal" gets sometimes very odd....

She came out with a new album a few months ago, Red Tide. As good or better than the the first. Unique stuff, she is associated with much of the underground in Sweden, plus she is just plain hot. Grin
