Long URLs may either be truncated or rendered unusable by the chat block due to "smiley" character combinations collision. A useful tool for transforming the URLs into shorter and neutral strings is TinyURL . Please use it when you have to post long URLs.

hey digi thats a really neat feature. u can also add a hot button to the firefoxtoolbar so you can quickly convert a browsed site. Thnx

You are most welcome, folks. TinyUrl is widely used in the SST community, so I'm grateful to them for bringing it to attention. Also thanks to Blas for suggesting the sticky topic. Sometimes I'm too pissed and tired after bitching at everyone, so I tend to oversee some obvious things.
Have fun shrinking the BFU's (Big Fuckin' URLs)!
