First of all, please read the announcement on how to request additions to the playlist.
Second, you should check the list more carefully. At least kampfar and 1349 are present here, as well as enslaved. Gorgoroth too...

yeah, well, there are a lot of BM bands I like to see in here, and they're NOT present.
And kampfar, yes, but how about keeping things up to date as well...???The latest album wasn't in here last time I checked it.
And there are loads and loads of stuff missing here...
How about some vinterriket???

Ohw, and, I am aware that this is Deat.fm and not Black.fm, but an upcoming of BM on this radio would get more listeners, I think(as Blackmetalradio.com or whatever, got kind of boring, not renewing their playlist very frequently...Besides, I like Death FM better because of the interaction with listeners) |

this is not a site 100% only of death
this is Black/Death metal radio, with lots of brutal genre of metal or angry, like : thrash, death-industrial, grindcore, hardcore/deathcore and piggy
 just needs some black or death influences, but i do agree is enough.
but still, Venom ?, Celtic Frost ?

I'd like to hear the same argument against black metal that prevents thrash metal to be added. The station should keep a sharp profile, so play mainly death metal.
I like black metal, but there shouldn't be more of it at death.fm. |

I'm kinda new around here ... at least from the joining date point of view .. but the stuff I grew up with is not that well represented. I'm not blaming I'm just stating the facts. I would to hear at this sensational radio station some of Obituary's old albums (Slowly we rot would be cool)  and some Napalm Death also. I'm an "oldies" fan. Thanks for keeping everything in place here. |

JERIC once said that the name of the station might be Death.FM but it's only bands he like so you shouldn't see this as an only deathmetal station. What kind of an internetradio would JERIC.FM be? No offence to him but that would suck as an online radio, don't you think?
I'm glad there's both black as well as death and other genres present so there's a bit of variation in the playlist instead of always the same genre playing. This way there's also a lot of listeners IMO, if there was only deathmetal playing (I think) there wouldn't be that many people enjoying this site.

I'm quite new as a listener, but what I like about Death.fm is the variation. I like both black and death metal so the playlist should be varied in my opinon. You might even end up hearing some new band you like  To answer the question, no I don't think it's too much black metal but keeping the balance between the genres is the best.
