The aspect of missing sock can be explained easily. When removing clothes it is easy to:
Drop a sock unoticed from the washer/ dryer into the basket. The sock also has the ability to stick up on top of the washer due to the spinning forces during the spin/ rinse period.
The fact that a full physical sock can deteriorate completely AFTER being washed is bulshit. The sock would have deteriorated in the washer, so lint cant all be from one sock.
When finding another clothes its can be
A. one or another family member put that sock or pieces of clothing into your pile. ALOT of ppl dont place the laundry into the washer or dry in single pieces. They toss it is as one pile. The discover the clothing whe they fold them.
B. Yet again the person that went before may have not checked the washer or dryer correctly before removal therfore you will have an xtra piece of clothing.
You dont need Quantum Mechanics to figure out pure logic. Think Spock dont think Einstien.
