|
i just got this through when loading the radio station:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").
does anyone have any ideas on how to get through this problem?
best way to contact me is through my email address: Apocolyptic_Demise@hotmail.com |

When you update the media player from 9 to 10 ,from the microsoft website there should be another download beside it .Download that one too and the problem should be fixed.I had the same problem it took me a week to figure it out.I hope this is helpful for you unfortunately I can't remember the name of the other download but it should be easy to find. |

Click winamp > CTRL+P > Plug-ins > Input > THOMSON mp3PRO Decoder >
Uninstall plug-in
or
Configure > Uncheck Enable (use mp3PRO Decorder for all .mp3 files) _________________ "It's all Venger's fault! We oughtta do something about that guy. " -Eric
