nerknal, this lil program, GSpot, saved me several times when I had codecs problems. With it you can see what codec is being used to play a certain midia filetype and define the precedence among the codecs with same purpose.
Try it
GSpot.exe @ pesa
GSpot27.dat @ pesa
ExportFormat.txt @ pesa
I believe that you have a codec merit problem. Download these above files in an only folder and use GSpot.

Hi,
sorry for giving no feedback for so long...
Still didn't have it going
This is surely also due to my noobness concerning digital media.
The Gspot program gave me lots of information i didn't have the time/patience to analyze duely...
Final question for this prob:
Is there any (easy) way of getting rid of all the codec and precedence settings?
Next option would be the standard windows problem resolution hint: format c:
anyway, thanks for the support and, Jeric, thanks for the station, love it! |

Uninstall all the crap you can and try the Mega Codec pack. _________________ I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum. |
