Hi guys,
Need your help.
I have a friend who is part in a band and they are going to release an album soon.
There's an argument that I have with him and its regarding their music style. They call their music style Atmospheric progressive doom metal and me after listening to 2 of their songs that are on youtube disagree with this completely and I am telling him that no way, this is plain Gothic metal and there's absolutely no Doom and despair in his music.
So is it possible to get your thoughts and opinions on this?

I would classify it as doom.
