Anyone heard Ótta. Doesn't fit the format of this station but its possibly their best work to date.

I've listened to it 3-4 times and I don't like it. Everyone seems to think it's amazing but I disagree. Too linear, not much variations in vocal style either. I expected much more. Older stuff is better. Svartir Sandar is my fave , not for dfm either.

I can see your point. I think people enjoy it most because of it's ability to cause a sense of relaxation. I think it takes a lot of guts to make a record like this. Something with feeling instead of the regular routine of stereotypical brutal annihilation of the utmost immaturity. Don't misunderstand this response, I have always been a huge fan of brutal death and always will be.

This certainly isn't their finest work. We all have our different opinions on what is the "best"

Listened to it with a friend who got the very limited edition, I have to say it is very different from their early works but not bad in any way. Just - different.

Usually when an album like this happens, by a band that doesn't usually orchestrate sounds in this way, usually leads to selling out.

I don't mind listening to it and if they happen to gain some global recognition then i say kudos to them.
