Idea for request system for longer songs ? 10:00 min,-14:59 min -takes 2 requests, 15:00 min-19:59 min - takes 3 requests, 20:00 min + takes 4 requests. Don't care either way but rather for the greater good of our beloved community

not a bad idea
but man it could also make as if one only plays songs long it is blocked for 12 hrs and he can only play short Songs from the 4 long song (10 min +) |

So you mean if you request a song that uses "2 requests" instead of the normal wait time of 20 minutes your time would double to 40 minutes? |

ban these 3 arseholes finally from the station and let them cool down for a few months in the freezer.
Or split it please to a separate doom-, gothic- and/or other "myriad.ish-muzik"-station.

Everyone donates music and money to this site and I respect that. I really don't care either way what happens. Since 2005 I have been a member because of the diversity. If Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, or Epica had 10-20 minute songs I would feel the same way. If a particular genre represents the majority of longer songs and more fans of that genre listen every day, the diversity of the queue will be lost due to the ability to request equally as often regardless of track length, saturating the queue.

There is already code that limits long song requesting. It occurs when the queue is over 2 hours long, which prevents songs that are 13:20 or longer from being requested. There does not need to be anymore than that. These threads about "long" tracks have been made many times, and we reply with the same response. Limiting people's requests when they are paying for RIP is silly, as we already have a limiter in place that allows some longer songs to be played, while still preventing the extra long ones from filling up the queue.
The station is diverse in it's metal content. People do not like some of the genres available, other people like all of it. Jeric probably does not have the time or resources to create another metal station.

The main reason why you are singling this out is because:
1. You dont like doom and hearing fucking 15 minutes of it makes you loose interest.
2. Same goes for other bits of music on this station that other have the same opinions against.
3. This genre racism and most of the anger goes towards Urielm, i have screens shots
4. You are cunts, this has been a repetitive topic since fucking 2006
5. If others pay their money to listen to what they want, they have the right. If you dont like it leave the station or dont pay for it, there is some of us that still will. If their song is 45 minutes long they paid for it, fuck you.
6. Again an ongoing topic over the history of this station.
7. What smoke said.
