This magical album has paved the way for many metallers out there. With it's majestic riff usage and it's complex drum patterns, this album is hard to beat. Chuck Schuldiner has created this atmosphere of music, and it's one of the best atmospheres that one person can come by. You will not be bored listening to the album and you might as well keep it in the CD player, you will be listening to it repeatedly with out a second thought.

Having their own unique sound, Decapitated has made their selves quite the influence on every young Death Metal fan that has picked up an instrument. With the death of Vitek and the injury of Covan the band's future was put on hold. Now, stepping back into the glorious stage light, Decapitated is back with a new drummer and vocalist. With the drum competition that placed Krimh on Vitek's throne, Decapitated is now playing more shows, trying to bring their sound back to the Death Metal scene.
Organic Hallucinosis is one of their many albums that they have shown themselves to be masters at metal. With their complex riffage and a godly drummer, this album should have been number one for all eternity.

this band is totally worthless, 9-15 minutes of this gothic wankery is just torture for everyone on DFM. someone should take this band out back and put it out of its misery!

If you like Burzum, "For all tid", the debut albums of Gehenna and so on, don't miss this one!
Loki is an ambient black metal album that can be truly considered a rightful successor of the above mentioned masterpieces.
The sound is foggy and mysterious, medieval and wet, obscure. The atmosphere the band can create is dark and very well constructed, coherent throughout the whole EP.
I would advise it for ambient lovers, that prefer attention for the details and well-exposed ideas instead of virtuosity and speed. The album beat indeed does never get too fast, but this is not a minus: the general impression the album gives gains heavier impact from this moderated speed.
A very well-done concept album: a small masterpiece ambient black metal fans should not miss!
