Estatic Fear - Somnium Obmutum
beaty in album
By: basher
Date: 4 May 2010
Rating:

Estatic fear has just slowly turned me to the slower side as well as i like the faster metals.

This creates athmosphere of far away forestes and fantasyworld full of dark secrets to be found.

My will to listen doom has now increased and i am nowdays listening doom aswell

Dissection - Reinkaos
preechers choice
By: basher
Date: 4 May 2010
Rating:

this must be the clearest sounded black/death albums in world, altough in my mind the two earliel are more melodical and symbolical, this one has brutal metalish sound whit very straight forward lyrics and direct teachings of chaosology and their gnossis.

This is a must purchase and i cannot say really is this better than the others techincly or any otehrway, this is very different than the other albums, and all of the changes are not good, altough m most of them are

KYPCK - Cherno
maybe the most oddest finnish good metalband at the moment
By: basher
Date: 4 May 2010
Rating:

odd just becouse they have taken the russian language to finnish doom..ish metal.

music is good, altough they are making cruel jokes of the soviets innovative but unwealthy citizents, but the music is good and makes doom sound whit a different aproach

Sentenced - North From Here
true part of the finnish metal history
By: basher
Date: 3 May 2010
Rating:

this is epical and started finnish metal boom around the globe.. good album and whit it their success was real.

Sentenced and several other finish bands made out pick around same time. but this brutal melodic death metal is the corner sthone of our unique sound in all hard metal music from amorphis to z-chrone..

alltohether this album is jewel in death metal history and should be inside everyones own albumlist

the last stand of the emperor
By: basher
Date: 3 May 2010
Rating:

This is for me the ultimate emperor album... no other bm albums have not be so underrated altough it is thought as emperors finest i would rate it maybe the birth of modern melodic black metal.

Wolfhorde - Deathknot
Whished...
By: spinemaggot
Date: 2 May 2010
Rating:

... they sold this album or EP in Amerika. I can barely feel the Black Metal part, but it is a very refreshing Folk Metal sound.

Insomnium - In The Halls Of Awaiting
I can't believe...
By: spinemaggot
Date: 1 May 2010
Rating:

..."In the Halls of Awaiting" was left out. Close minded near stupidity. Include it please. This is their best album for fucking ever, but without that song it ain't shit.

Silencer - Death - Pierce Me
Death - Pierce Me
By: Ebonfire
Date: 1 May 2010
Rating:

An absolutely amazing and stunning take on suicidal black metal, the psychotic vocals found within this release is unlike anything you have ever heard before. “Death - Pierce Me” is an album that takes the darkness found within your typical black metal album and takes it a step further with its frantic and agonizing pace, as well as the insanely unique vocals.

Silencer only ever released the one album, but they’ve managed to put a career’s worth of quality into this cd, not to mention the replay value of the songs. No matter how many times you listen to “Death - Pierce Me”, it never gets old or boring.

This album is nothing short of absolutely ruthless and uncompromising, and not for the weak-minded.
