Aborted - Haematobic EP, The
Album Review
By: RipperChris
Date: 8 Jul 2011
Rating:

Excellent sound. Great vocals. The drum work is exquisite. The balasting combined with the guitar riffs makes the vocals even better. Just another excellent work from Aborted.

Deicide - To Hell With God
Album Review
By: RipperChris
Date: 8 Jul 2011
Rating:

I love Deicide, but I think that they have lost their sound. Deicide old work was more agressive, Vocals were super natural. i know that age can take a toll on vocalist, but not their lyrics and sound. this is one more album that Deicide has put out that carries them further away from what they used to be. Deicide Rules, hands down.

Deicide - Till Death Do Us Part
Album Review.
By: RipperChris
Date: 8 Jul 2011
Rating:

This album has lost the Deicide sound. Lyrics are almost present, but not the infernal sound that Deicide is known for. This is a total change for their sound.

When the band looses two members it shows. The sound is different from past albums. At some point you can actually hear their work from past albums. Glen and Steve Thank you for keeping the flame going.

Deicide - Deicide
Album Review.
By: RipperChris
Date: 8 Jul 2011
Rating:

This is without a doubt a classic. Its been a long time since it came to our listening pleasure. Old school Death metal at its finest. Lunatic of Gods Creation, Dead by Dawn, are among by favorites. This a perfect example of Brutal Metal. Since that start of Glen Bentons,Amon we knew that he was a force to deal with.

Morbid Angel - Illud Divinum Insanus
Album Review
By: RipperChris
Date: 8 Jul 2011
Rating:

Illud Divinum Insanus is the eighth studio album by Morbid Angel. I have waited many years for Morbid Angel next release. Heretic was their last album before the long hiatus. All I can say is, it was worth the wait. Great sound all around.

Born Of Osiris - Discovery, The
Album Review.
By: RipperChris
Date: 8 Jul 2011
Rating:

The follow up of A Higher Place. Although this is their second album, they are maturing their sound. Ronnie Canizaro has gone deeper with his vocals on some songs.

Abigor - Verwustung / Invoke The Dark Age
Verwustung - Invoke The Dark Age
By: Azdragar
Date: 5 Jul 2011
Rating:

This is Abigor's first full-lenght, realized in 1994. This is my favourite one from Abigor's discography. The album is very melodic and fast with two instrumental songs: "Beneath a Steel Sky" & "A Spell of Dark and Evil". The production technique of the musicians did not let the hatred, despair and passion were lost in the music. It was not necessary here producing a highly "raw" feel to the black metal in the veins of Austrians. Prepare to be bombarded by stunning riffs, stupendous vocals - Silenius singing (Summoning) and a great fast drums. I rate this album 4/5. Recommended
