Todeskult - Apathy

Okay, fuckers! You know, ordinarily i'm not the die-hard BM-fan, but Todeskults *Apathy* is dark and damaged, grim and suicidal miserablist drenched black metal of the highest order, IMO.
The music is completely intense and seething as well, with an unrestrained turbulence, dense and buzzing and so emotional and personal and overwhelming.
Another thing that is worth noting about this release is how unique the vocals are...vFor some people, they WILL be an automatic turn off. The vokills are "high pitched" blood curdling screams! My impression is that the art, lyrics and sound were all created to be observed together to form the concept. AWESOME!
Todeskult will take you into a world where there is no hope... This is one for the masochists here, hehe... *CHEERZ!* \m/

There is no question that Joe Wolfe is one of the sickest vocalists in death metal. His work with Clean Flesh and Erotic Incisions manifests that. His predator vocals are inhuman. The material on this CD is sicker, faster, and heavier than his previous work. This is a relentless onslaught of ultra guttural slamming death metal.

Skinless - Foreshadowing Our Demise

Skinless is a New York Death Metal band that combines the brutality and sickness of brutal death metal with the crushing breakdowns hardcore bands. With that being said, this album KILLS! Right from the start this album grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. There intros are hilarious, and their breakdowns absolutely rule. You can not listen to this album without either headbanging or without getting the urge to start a mosh pit.

Suffocation is a band that reigns high in the deathmetal world, for their brutal and crushing sound as well as their serious subject matter/lyrics. I know that when I got my hands on Souls to Deny, I knew that I would not be letdown at all. All the tracks are impressive and its so original which makes this an awesome cd.

Great album, great band. With members from Behemoth and Vader combined i dont think it can get a whole lot better than this. The full orchestra they use adds a lot to the melody and sound. Very unique, and great.
