This is unblack |

Xtian black metal? WTF? Hahaha
Yes, Irule, it's a funny joke and the other xtian bands too. Christians said that metal is satanic... no comment

if you enjoy listening to bands such as AFI or armor for sleep (can't think of any others to list) then this album is for you to have playing in the background while you cry and cut yourself.... please take it with you when you leave this site, as this is garbage that simply does not belong here..... the vocals on their own aren't half bad, their front woman has a pretty voice. other than that fact its pure dung.

The Meads Of Asphodel - Mill Hill Sessions, The

Crazy |

these crazy bastards did it again.. probably their weirdest one yet.. mixing black, thrash, punk, death and rock .. the apogee of weirdness is the amazing "my beautiful genocide", a long and funny track with all the influences aforementioned .. great lyrics, great sense of humor, fun to listen to, they bring something fresh to the scene..

Good album, but not for this site |

I really like this band, and I like this album, but it really does not belong here... I am very surprised I found it here, actually...

Immortal - Sons Of Northern Darkness
|
Album Review |
|
Immortal never stops producing some of the finest black metal music I've personally ever heard. This album sums up a dark feeling within, which is important to Immortal & the black metal genre. This is considered to be possibly one of the more "better" albums Immortal has ever produced. I purchased to show support to both my ears & Immortal. A treat for both \,,/

Pathology - Awaken To The Suffering

Purchased to Support Pathology & Great Album |
|
After hearing "Emesis" shortly after the release, I desired to hear more, and indeed I did. I ran across it at a place that carries a great amount of albums of the extreme genres, and realized that this is what I was really looking for. I listened from start to finish. I enjoy listening to it often. It's one of the greats \,,/

Spawn Of Possession - Incurso
|
Amazing album |
|
As of now, this is my favorite Spawn of Possession album. It offers a variety of riffs, very fast in tempo, quick to progress to bigger and better tones, which suits my taste in music. It's definitely technical, and definitely fast. I am very impressed with this album, as I feel most DFM members would agree.

Anhedonist - Netherwards
|
Truly Impressed |
|
I must say, this album gives off very soft and gentle melodies on the guitar without the distortion, while with distortion; adds another complex world of great music. I'm not familiar with the band, however so far; I am impressed with this album. Offering great melodies, and breath-taking riffs to go along with it all. The only down-side, is the songs do seem to drag on a bit after a while, but eventually pick back up again to finish off a great tune.

Catheter - Southwest Doom Violence
|
What a monster album! |
|
Catheter's long awaited second full lenght album, playing in their own pissed off style of raging grindcore and doom. Two weeks ago I saw them live and was blasted away by the wall of sound the produced. Classic grindcore in the tradition of Repulsion, Terrorizer, Phobia, early Napalm Death, with crust and doom metal infiltrating the mix and what makes it extra tasty, the guitar sounds like it was recorded in the Sunlight Studio, old Entombed sound, I just can't get enough of this record!

Shining - VII: Fodd Forlorare
|
Born Losers? |
|
Another ouburst of attention seeking from failed suicide Niklas Klavforth. More commercial this time, in line with his promise not to commit further onstage atrocities which might offend the musical mainstream.
Maybe the band will become a big international success and he won't have an excuse to keep on whining and cutting himself like an adolescent schoolgirl.
