Vital Remains Destroys the Death Metal Scene
By: tronous32
Date: 11 Aug 2011
Rating:
This sounds like a new and improved version of Dechristianize. The drumming refrains from too much blasting. The solos still rip. Harmonies are more abundant and properly placed, with a very black metal style of riff. And Glen Benton's king of death metal vocals are as brutal as ever. Erik Rutan does a great job with the production, and here he captures a nice balance of tone and attack.
